Welfare of Christian Leaders
* The association Promote the mutual interests of its members in respect of research, development and standards.
* The activities of the association are based on the principle of free participation in public life, which means that the association participates freely in the development, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of public policies and the shaping of the public opinion, as well as expresses its views and opinions and takes initiative on issues of its interest.
* The activities of the association are based on the principle of democratic organization, which means that the association is managed by its members in such a manner that its internal structure is based on the principles of democratic representation and democratic expression of the will of its members.
* The activities of the association are based on the principle of independence, which means the association determines independently its field of operation, objectives, activities and it's internal structure, and that it independently performs activities that are not contrary to the Constitution and law.
* The associations ensure that professional standards are maintained and implemented. We also ensure that public safety and interest are protected.
Ghana Pastors Union Association seeks to set standards within Pastoral profession, and also be the key advocates for or against legislation that impacts the church and society.
The Union offer participation on national, international, regional, District or local levels.

Doctrinal Basis of this Organization
We belief in the acceptance of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit which constitute the doctrinal basis for the Union.
We believe in God who revealed Himself in human form, and brightened with light by the Spirit.
